Perfect Day

A clock for one day

The day, drawn once and drawn well.

Not a to-do list. A shape. Every hour of a day worth repeating gets its own color inside one dial, so you can tell at a glance whether today looks like it.

Perfect day

24 hours, decided

How it works

Three steps, then it is just a clock.

01

Draw the day you want

Name the blocks that matter and give each one a color. Sleep, deep work, the walk after lunch. Ten minutes, once.

02

The dial fills in

Your blocks become the inside of the clock. No lists, no checkboxes, just a face you can read in half a second.

03

Live inside it

The hand keeps moving. You either match the color you are standing in or you notice that you do not.

What it is

Everything it does, and nothing else.

A face, not a feed

One dial holds the whole day. Nothing scrolls, nothing pings, nothing is buried three taps down.

Colors you assign

Every block carries its own hue and keeps it across the ring, the list, and the widget.

Honest overlap

Twenty four hours is a fixed budget. Add an hour somewhere and the dial takes it from somewhere else.

Night is part of it

Sleep is a block with a color like everything else, because the day starts the evening before.

Templates that repeat

Weekday, studio day, travel day. Swap the whole shape in one tap instead of rebuilding it.

Quiet by design

Two notifications a day at most, and you choose which edges deserve them.

In place

It lives on a wall, not in a tab.

Machined aluminium bezel, 300mm, silent sweep. The dial is printed with your own day, so the room tells you what the hour is for.

Ships flat, hangs in a minute, and never asks for your attention again.

One AA cell lasts about a year. The colors are anodized, not printed on plastic, so they hold their tone in direct sun.

A perfect week is a fantasy. A perfect day is a template you can run again tomorrow.

I stopped planning weeks. One good day, drawn properly, does more than any system I paid for.
Mara Ellison · Product designer, Copenhagen
The colors are the trick. I can feel a bad day before lunch because the dial and my morning do not match.
Theo Vance · Founder, Oakline
It is the only planner my partner and I both actually look at. It hangs on the wall as a clock.

Questions, answered.

Is this a calendar?
No. A calendar records what happened to your day. Perfect Day describes the day you decided on, so you have something to compare against.
What if my days are never the same?
Then draw the shape you want most days to resemble. The point is a reference, not a rule.
Can I import my existing schedule?
Studio reads a calendar feed and lays the real day underneath your ideal one, so the gap is visible.
Is there a physical clock?
Yes. The Object edition is a wall clock with a backlit color dial that shows your template all day. Limited first run.

Tomorrow already has a shape. Choose it.
